Zac Robbins and Aleksi Halme are tied for the team scoring lead. Robbins recently announced his commitment to the University of Connecticut and Halme is putting together a resume for the 2018 NHL Draft. Rookie goaltender Drew DeRidder has appeared in five games and has already faced 143 shots, something that might be valuable in his future development with Cedar Rapids.

Rookie Joel Farabee leads Team USA in scoring with five points in six games, and has continued his scoring dominance while playing for his country at the World U17 Challenge. Penn State University commit Evan Barratt leads the U18 squad in scoring. Another player to keep an eye on is rookie defenseman Bode Wilde who has scored twice for Team USA in his first six games.
