The Fighting Saints have found success on the road early this season with a 4-3-0-0 road record. Florida native Zach Solow is tied for the team’s lead in scoring with eight points in 11 games. The Northeastern commit sported a three-game goal scoring streak in October, and heads into November with a two-game point streak. Regen Cavanagh, also tied for the team scoring lead, has scored in seven of Dubuque’s 11 games this season. The uncommitted forward is in his first USHL season. Fans should keep an eye on Cole Guttman who has five points in his first four games since returning to the lineup from injury. On defense Arizona Coyotes prospect Patrick Kudla has seven points in 11 games, and enters the month of November with a three-game point streak. 

 

 

9. Omaha Lancers

6-6-0-0, Last Poll: 17

 

After a slow start, Omaha put together a five-game win streak and now sit in the always important fourth spot in the Western Conference standings. Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Peter Thome didn’t lose in USHL action until October 22nd, and now sits at 5-1-0-0 with a .901 SV%. Many fans were expecting Brannon McManus to lead the team offensively, which he has, but Pierce Crawford has also been a pleasant surprise for the Lancers. Crawford shares the team lead in scoring with McManus with 10 points, including seven goals. As for McManus, the Gophers commit turned in a good month of play in October, as he sported a seven-game point streak during play in October.
