Connor Mackey has been a big key for Green Bay’s success through the team’s first 21 games. He has 14 points (3G, 11A) in those games, second among all USHL defensemen. He has been lethal on the power play as well with 11 points (3G, 8A) on the man advantage. Mackey leads all defensemen in both assists and points while on the power play. The Gamblers have the third best road record in the USHL (7-5-0-1), something that will be key in December, as five of the team’s nine games in the final month of 2016 will be played away from Resch Center.

5. Muskegon Lumberjacks

Andrei Svechnikov continues to take the league by storm. He tallied a point in every USHL game he played in November, finishing with 14 points (7G, 7A) in just six games. Four of those games were multi-point performances, and November’s 14 points alone would put him in the top-25 USHL scorers this season. He currently has 23 points (10G, 13A) on the season, tops among rookies and good for third among all USHL players. Collin Adams has been playing exceptionally well. He is tied for the league lead with 26 points (16G, 10A) in 18 games. Bo Hanson has provided a spark from the back end with 20 points (3G, 17A). He is second among all players in assists and 12th in points. Muskegon is on the road for five of their eight games in December and will look to improve on their 7-5-0-0 record away from L.C. Walker Arena.
