8. Team USA

9-4-0-0, Last Poll: 3

Team USA has slowed down a bit since a remarkable beginning to the season but still remains one of the top teams in the USHL. After starting the season 5-1-0-0, Team USA finished .500 in their next six games, going 3-3-0-0, before knocking off the Fargo Force 6-3 to end November. Jack Hughes is still the rookie and Team USA scoring leader with 16 points (3G, 13A) and is also riding a eight-game point streak, having scored in every USHL game in which he's played, including a two-assist performance against Fargo. Cole Caufield, the team leader in goals, hadn't not lit the lamp since opening the season with seven goals in four games before picking up his eighth tally of the year in the win over Fargo. Oliver Wahlstrom, an A-rated skater on November's NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch list, remains one of the leaders for the U18’s. Team USA leads the league in goals for per game (4.85), accumulating 63 goals in 13 games. Despite an up-and-down November, Team USA still remains an exciting team to watch and look out for all season long. They will look to return to the top after a month consisting of six games, four of which will be played on home ice.
