The Indiana Ice announced that goaltender Dalton Izyk has committed to play collegiate hockey at Robert Morris University after the completion of his USHL career.

Izyk, who recently celebrated his 19th birthday, has kept busy this season appearing in 33 of the 44 games for the Ice.  His 33 games are tied for the most among USHL goaltenders and his 1,935 minutes in net are currently the second highest total in the League.  Izyk has put together a 13-17-3 record this season.

It is the second USHL season for the native of Oswego, New York after posting a 5-4-0 record in 2011-12 as a rookie for the Ice.  He has won 18 games during his time in the USHL, including two shutouts.  His next game will be the 50th of his career with the Ice.

Robert Morris University is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Association.  One USHL alum is on the roster for the Colonials this season, Evan Moore who spent last season in the USHL with the Sioux Falls Stampede.
