The visiting Indiana Ice defeated the Green Bay Gamblers 5-1 in Game One of their best-of-series. Five different players for Indiana scored a goal, including Mike Cichy who extended his playoff goal-scoring streak to four games and Brandon Richardson who extended his playoff point streak to five games.
Indiana scored the first five goals of the game and was 1:41 from earning the shutout until Anthony Hayes tallied his third goal of the playoffs for Green Bay. Brett Bennett made 23 saves in net for Indiana to record the victory.
The teams meet in Green Bay for Game Two of the series on Saturday. Clark Cup Playoff action resumes on Friday when Lincoln hosts Fargo for the second game of their series. The #3 seed Fargo Force hold a 1-0 lead as both #3 seeds have captured the first game of their respective series.
