2010 USHL All-Star Game logo
The United States Hockey League, in conjunction with the Indiana Ice, has today unveiled the official logo for the 2010 USHL All-Star Game. The two-day celebration of the USHL will culminate with the East taking on the West on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis, home of the Clark Cup champion Indiana Ice.
The logo for the League's midseason showcase incorporates the Indiana Ice logo and team colors – navy blue, Carolina blue, and burnt orange – as well as the image of the historic Pepsi Coliseum. The logo was developed by Keith Flynn of Flynnagain Productions, who also created the logos and marks of the Indiana Ice.
"The logo we have developed with Keith Flynn is designed to capture both the history of hockey in Indiana, and of the Pepsi Coliseum," said Paul Skjodt, Indiana Ice CEO. "We are excited to bring the 2010 USHL All-Star Game and its related events to Indianapolis, and showcase our city and organization to our fellow league members, the NHL, and the world of hockey."
"We're excited to see the All-Star Game come to Indianapolis and the Pepsi Coliseum, one of the USHL's iconic arenas," said USHL Commissioner Skip Prince. "There's a lot of history in the building, and it's only fitting to incorporate it into the All-Star mark."
The USHL and the Ice will be making a series of announcements over the next several weeks as preparations for the All-Star Game continue.
Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 31st season of junior hockey in 2009-10.
