How did you get started playing hockey?  My dad

What is the best thing about playing in the USHL in your hometown?  Playing in front of so many friends and family.

Describe the playoff run that the Ice went on last season?  It's hard to describe in words. We just got hot and we were having so much fun as a team.

What was different from the close of the regular season, where the team struggled, to the start of the playoffs, where the team played so well?  We realized we needed to have fun again. We needed to stop worrying about all the little things and just play the sport we love.

What has it been like playing for your father?  I have been doing it all my life. He is hard on me like any father would be.

What are some of the differences you've noticed between your first year and your second year in the league?  I have more confidence in my abilities in year two.  Playing with some familiar players from last year we have seemed to gel even better and play better hockey.

What made you choose Nebraska-Omaha as the place to play your college hockey?  Coach Kemp was a very cool person and someone that I wanted to play for.

If you had your own theme song, what would it be?  Two Step Remix by DJ Unk

What's one thing that nobody knows about you?  I am very superstitious.

What advice do you give to young players?  Never stop trying.  Keep working hard because good things are bound to happen.
