The Indiana Ice will be hosting "Hardee'sNight" starring Rupert, America's favorite survivor from the reality television show. Rupert will be joining the Ice when the team hosts the Green Bay Gamblers this Saturday (2/9) at 7:05 p.m. from Pepsi Coliseum. A portion of the ticket sales that evening will benefit Rupert's Kids Inc., a 501 (C)(3) organization.
In 2004, Rupert Boneham was voted America's favorite "Survivor" on Pearl Islands, the seventh season of the popular CBS show Survivor. Besides appearing on Pearl Islands, Rupert was also invited to compete on the Survivor All-Star show.
Boneham, a resident of Indianapolis, took much of his winnings to help start his own organization, Rupert's Kids, Inc. Rupert's Kids serves young adults from the ages of 18-24 who are unable to obtain and sustain steady housing and employment. The organization specializes in landscaping and the renovation of rundown houses. These young adults learn many skills and values that will help them succeed down the road.
Rupert will be signing autographs throughout the game and fans will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive autographed tie-died Rupert t-shirts and dinner and skating with the reality television star. Proceeds from the auction and ticket sales will benefit Rupert's Kids, Inc.
Fans can purchase tickets for "Hardee's Night" and all home games at all Ticketmaster locations including Karma Records and the Pepsi Coliseum and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices, or by calling (317) 239.5151 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
