Bobby Kinsella, seen here coaching the West Division in the 2007 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game, has accepted a head coaching position at the Midget AAA level and will leave Sioux City at season's end. He has been with the Musketeers for three seasons.
The Sioux City Musketeers announced today that Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Bobby Kinsella will not be returning after this season. He has accepted the position of General Manager / Head Coach of the Boston JR Rangers Midget AAA hockey team (www.jrrangers.com). Bobby will be returning to his home state of Massachusetts where the team will play out of Bavis Arena in Rockland, MA. In addition to being GM & Head Coach of the team he will also serve as Associate Hockey Director for Global Hockey, an amateur hockey development program. " I have been looking to get back to the East Coast for sometime now & this is a great opportunity. I have however really enjoyed my time in Sioux City and with the Musketeer's organization."
"Bobby will be missed, said team President Jim Kronschnabel. He has done a great job for us and always represented Sioux City and the Musketeers organization in a very professional manner. We hate to seem him go but this is an opportunity he can't refuse. We wish him the best and thank him for his hard work and time with the Musketeers."
