USHL Alumni Voices: Trevor Lewis

Los Angeles Kings forward Trevor Lewis talks about his time in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers.  He spent two season with the team, scoring 97 points (45g, 52a) over 108 regular season games.  He second in USHL scoring during the 2005-06 season with 75 points (35g, 40a) which included 12 multi-goal games.



Lewis led the Bucs to the Clark Cup title in 2006 as he put up 16 points (3g, 13a) in 11 playoff games.  He was named the USHL Player of the Year and was recognized by USA Hockey as the Junior Player of the Year.



A native of Utah, he would go on to be selected in the first round (17th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings, ten picks after his Bucs teammate Kyle Okposo who was taken seventh overall.
