Jacob Nehama

Jacob Nehama, Dubuque Fighting Saints

The 18-year-old goaltender did not allow a goal over 100 minutes of game action to help the Fighting Saints earn a weekend sweep against the Fargo Force.  He turned away all 19 shots, including nine in the third period, during Friday’s 3-0 victory to post his first shutout of the season.  Nehama then entered Saturday’s game at the start of the second period and stopped all 20 shots he faced the rest of the way in the 4-2 win for Dubuque, extending his shutout streak to 142:14 minutes.  The Allen, Texas native is currently 7-0-0 this season, tying for the USHL lead among goaltenders in victories, while ranking fourth overall with a 1.92 goals-against-average.  He is one of five USHL goaltenders to play 500 minutes or more in net this season.
