Brock Boeser, Waterloo Black Hawks
The 17-year-old had a four-point game (3g, 1a) in leading the Black Hawks to a 6-4 victory against the Lincoln Stars on Friday. It was the third multi-goal game of the season and the first USHL hat trick for Boeser as he scored his three goals in three different ways – even strength, power play, and shorthanded. Two of his goals came in a span of 3:46 during the middle period, the second of which proved to be the game-winner. The big night moved him into a tie for the USHL lead with nine goals while he also ranks fourth overall in League scoring with 13 points (9g, 4a) through nine games. The Burnsville, Minnesota native is committed to the University of Wisconsin and is a top prospect for the 2015 NHL Draft.
