Adam Johnson, Sioux City Musketeers
The veteran forward recorded nine points (3g, 6a) to help the Musketeers earn five of a possible six points in the standings over three contests. He scored a goal just 33 seconds into the game on Wednesday and then dished out an assist in the 4-3 shootout loss to Omaha. The 20-year-old followed up with a three-point game (1g, 2a) in Friday’s 5-1 victory over Fargo. Johnson then closed out the week with his third consecutive multi-point effort by contributing to all four goals (1g, 3a) in the 4-2 win against Fargo on Saturday. His goal proved to be the game-winner and was the 30th tally of his USHL career. He is now second overall in USHL scoring with 36 points (15g, 21a) in 29 games this season, and he is tied for the League lead with four game-winning goals. The product of Hibbing-Chisholm High School in Minnesota will begin his college hockey career next season at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
