Vince Pedrie
Bloomington Thunder

Vince Pedrie, Bloomington Thunder

The defenseman scored a goal and posted a plus-six rating as the Thunder earned a weekend split.  He netted his team’s first goal in Saturday’s 7-3 victory against the Sioux City Musketeers.  The 20-year-old also finished the night with a plus-six rating, the best plus/minus rating in a game by a USHL player this season.  It is the highest plus/minus mark in the League since the 2012-13 season when Jeff Taylor (Dubuque Fighting Saints) and Will Butcher (Team USA) finished games with a plus-seven rating.  Pedrie is tied for fifth among USHL defensemen with 20 points (9g, 11a) and his nine goals are second-most among blueliners.  The Apple Valley, Minnesota native will play college hockey at Quinnipiac University next season.
