Kieffer Bellows & Andrew Oglevie

Kieffer Bellows, Sioux Falls Stampede

The 16-year-old netted four goals over a pair of games for the Stampede.  He scored his team’s first goal of the game in Friday’s 5-3 loss to the Sioux City Musketeers.  Bellows then recorded his first USHL hat trick when he tallied three goals in Saturday’s 5-4 shootout loss to the Tri-City Storm.  With his team trailing 4-2, he scored a pair of goals in a span of 44 seconds near the end of regulation to tie the contest and force overtime.  He would also convert his shootout attempt.  The forward is currently riding a five-game point streak (6g, 2a) and has produced 17 points (13g, 4a) over his last 12 contests.  The product of Edina High School in Minnesota is tied for fifth in the USHL with 20 goals.  He is committed to Boston University.

Andrew Oglevie, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders

The veteran forward recorded five points (2g, 3a) over two games as the RoughRiders earned a weekend sweep over the Youngstown Phantoms.  He scored the game-winning goal in Friday’s 6-1 victory.  Oglevie then equaled a season high with four points (1g, 3a) in Saturday’s 5-0 win, including his 15th goal of the year.  The big night extended his point streak to 10 games (9g, 7a) and pushed him over 100 points for his USHL career (42g, 61a).  The 19-year-old is now tied for third in USHL scoring with 42 points (15g, 27a) through 33 games this season, and he leads the League with a plus-31 rating.  The Fullerton, California native is a product of Culver Military Academy and will play college hockey at the University of Notre Dame.
