Hayden Shaw, Waterloo Black Hawks
The defenseman produced six points (1g, 5a) and a plus-six rating in leading the Black Hawks to a pair of wins. He dished out a USHL career high three assists and equaled a game high plus-four rating in Friday’s 6-2 win over the Sioux City Musketeers. Shaw followed up with another three-point effort (1g, 2a) which included the game-winning goal in Saturday’s 4-2 victory against the Bloomington Thunder. The 18-year-old is riding a five-game point streak (1g, 9a) and currently ranks tied for fourth among USHL defensemen with 28 points (2g, 26a) through 29 games this season. His 26 assists are tied for 15th overall in the League. The product of Woodbury High School in Minnesota is committed to the University of North Dakota.
