Hayden Shaw, Dubuque Fighting Saints

The defenseman earns his second consecutive weekly honor after recording six points (2g, 4a) over three games for the Saints.  He scored a goal and dished out an assist in Friday’s 8-1 win against Madison.  He then produced his third straight multi-point game with three (1g, 2a) in Saturday’s 4-1 victory against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.  His goal proved to be the game-winner.  Shaw then closed out the weekend with an assist in Sunday’s shootout loss to Madison, extending his point streak to six games (3g, 8a).  The 18-year-old is currently third in scoring among USHL defensemen with 41 points (5g, 36a) over 42 games this season.  He also ranks 11th in the League with a plus-21 rating.  The product of Woodbury High School in Minnesota is committed to play college hockey at the University of North Dakota.
