Jake Oettinger, Team USA
The goaltender stopped all 28 shots he faced in Friday’s 4-0 win against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. It was the first shutout of his USHL career. The 16-year-old has posted a 3-1-1 record over his last five starts in the USHL and has won five games in the League while compiling a .907 save percentage over 20 appearances for Team USA’s Under-17 squad. He has won 10 overall games this season between USHL, international, and other competition for Team USA. Oettinger is a product of Lakeville North High School in Minnesota and is not currently committed to a college hockey program.
