The United States Hockey League announced the CCM Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 27 of the 2015-16 season. New Hampshire commit Patrick Grasso won his first weekly honor this season after a four-point weekend, while USHL defensemen scoring leader Jeremy Davies and goaltender Ben Blacker are back-to-back recipients of Defenseman of the Week and Goaltender of the Week, respectively. CCM Hockey is the official equipment partner of the USHL.
Forward: Patrick Grasso – Des Moines Buccaneers

The Iowa native had quite the weekend for Des Moines, as he scored a goal on Friday night and had two goals as well as an assist on Saturday in a weekend sweep of the Western Conference leading Tri-City Storm. The former Omaha AAA (NAPHL) now has 40 points on the season, which is tied for second on the Buccaneers with Zach Jordan and Ty Pelton-Byce. His 21 goals rank second on the team behind Jordan. The future Wildcat is in his third full season with the Buccaneers, after playing games with the team in the 2012-13 season. The undrafted forward has 103 points in 191 career USHL games.
Defenseman: Jeremy Davies – Bloomington Thunder

This is the second consecutive week Davies earned USHL Defenseman of the Week, and it is also the second week in a row where the Northeastern University commit has tallied five assists over the course of the weekend. Davies continues to lead both his team, as well as all defensemen in the USHL in scoring with 48 points. The Thunder are now in second place in the Eastern Conference. The Pointe-Claire, QC native is in his second season in the USHL, and has 72 points in 81 career league games. Davies was a 13th round Phase II selection of the Waterloo Black Hawks in 2014, and he spent time with them as well as the Lac St-Louis Lions (QMAAA) prior to playing for the Thunder.
Goaltender: Ben Blacker – Cedar Rapids RoughRiders

Blacker won his fifth USHL Goaltender of the Week honor this season after leading Cedar Rapids to back-to-back wins. The Western Michigan University commit backstopped the league-leading RoughRiders to a pair of wins over the weekend, and has Cedar Rapids just three points away from clinching the Anderson Cup. The Oakville, ON native had a pair of 31 saves on 32 shots performances against Team USA and the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He now has 33 wins on the season, most in the league. Blacker has improved on his stellar 24-11-0-2 record, 2.73 GAA and .913 SV% last season, as he currently sports a 33-11-2-2 record, 2.12 GAA, and .929 SV%, all of which are top two in the USHL. The former Milton Icehawk (OJHL) was a 4th round, 46th overall pick of the Indiana Ice in the 2014 USHL Phase I Draft.
