Tri-City took a 1-0 series lead after goaltender Jake Kielly posted his second shutout during Clark Cup Playoffs. Four different players scored for the Storm in the 4-0 win at home.
Kielly stopped all 32 shots he faced in addition to helping kill two Waterloo power plays. Kielly leads all goaltenders in Clark Cup Playoffs with a 4-0-0 record with a 0.75 GAA and .974 SV%.
Forwards Carson Meyer and Nico Sturm scored back-to-back goals in the first period. Tri-City finished with two empty net goals to make the final score 4-0. Tri-City will look to take a 2-0 series lead Saturday night at home with back-to-back wins.
