The United States Hockey League announced the CCM Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 7 of the 2016-17 season. Casey Mittelstadt was named Forward of the Week for the first time in his USHL career after a six-point weekend that catapulted him to the top of the scoring leaderboard, while teammate Connor Mackey won his second consecutive Defenseman of the Week honor. Waterloo goaltender Robbie Beydoun won his second Goaltender of the Week award this season after posting his third shutout for Black Hawks. CCM Hockey is the official equipment provider of the USHL.
Forward: Casey Mittelstadt – Green Bay Gamblers

Mittelstadt won his first-ever USHL Forward of the Week award after an impressive six-point weekend. The Eden Prairie, MN native extended his point streak to five games after scoring four points Friday night and two points on Saturday. The rookie forward leads the USHL in scoring with 20 points in 14 games. Mittelstadt has been lethal on the Gamblers power play, scoring 14 points while on the man advantage. Green Bay is a perfect 6-0-0-0 when Mittelstadt scores a goal this season, and is 9-1-0-0 when he is credited with at least one point. Mittelstadt has factored in on 20 of the team’s 41 goals this season, or 49% of the Green Bay’s offense. The Gamblers center is committed to the University of Minnesota and was a 2014 USHL Phase I Draft pick in the 5th round, 73rd overall. NHL Central Scouting ranked Mittelstadt as an A-rated skater in the October Preliminary Players to Watch List.
Defenseman: Connor Mackey – Green Bay Gamblers

Mackey has now won Defenseman of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks. After a three-point weekend last week, Mackey extended his point streak to five games with a pair of goals Friday, followed by a pair of assists Saturday. The Minnesota State University, Mankato commit leads all USHL defensemen in scoring with 13 points in 14 games. Friday’s two-goal performance, which included a game-winning goal, was the first multi-goal game of Mackey’s career. The Gamblers are now 7-1-0-0 when Mackey picks up a point this season. Mackey was selected by Green Bay in the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft in the 13th round, 197th overall. Mackey previously played for Team Illinois (HPHL) and Barrington High (USHS).
Goaltender: Robbie Beydoun – Waterloo Black Hawks
1-0-0-0, 0.00 GAA, 1.000 sv%
Beydoun recorded his third shutout this season Saturday night, stopping all 25 shots he faced. The shutout set a new single-season career high for Beydoun, one year after he recorded two shutouts for the Fargo Force (USHL). The uncommitted netminder leads the USHL in goals against average (1.23) and save percentage (.955). Beydoun is now 5-1-0-1 this season, and is one win away from his 20th career USHL victory. The Black Hawks are 4-0-0-1 when Beydoun makes 25 or more saves in a game. The Plymouth, MI native previously played for the Fargo Force, Michigan Warriors (NAHL) and Compuware (HPHL) prior to joining the Water Black Hawks this season. Beydoun was undrafted in the USHL.
