The United States Hockey League and NHL Central Scouting announced that Madison Capitols forward Kamil Sadlocha has been added to the 2017 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game that will take place on Jan. 10 in Sioux Falls, SD at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Sadlocha is in his first USHL season with the Madison Captiols and currently has 10 points in 26 games. The Ohio State University commit is T-11th in USHL rookie scoring, and leads all Madison rookies. Madison is 3-0-0-0 this season when Sadlocha scores a goal.
With the addition of Sadlocha, the Capitols now have two players named to the game including forward Mick Messner.
Sadlocha will replace Sioux City Musketeers forward Eeli Tolvanen, who will not be able to compete due to injury.
2017 marks the fifth time the USHL will be hosting the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, and it follows the fourth consecutive year that 30 or more players from the USHL were selected at the NHL Draft. The 2017 NHL Draft will be held June 23-24 in Chicago, IL at the United Center, home of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Fans can purchase tickets to the game HERE, and any media credential requests should be sent HERE.
Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 15th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2016-17. 30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in four consecutive NHL Drafts, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
