The United States Hockey League announced the CCM Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 26 of the 2016-17 season. A trio of Green Bay Gamblers earned weekly awards, as Casey Mittelstadt was named Forward of the Week, Connor Mackey picked up Defenseman of the Week honors and Maksim Zhukov was named Goaltender of the Week. Mittelstadt tallied two goals and four assists in three games, his first games with the Gamblers since Nov. 12. Mackey dished out five assists in three games and continues to lead all USHL defenseman in scoring, and Zhukov made 53 saves in his two starts to backstop Green Bay to a pair of victories. CCM Hockey is the official equipment provider of the USHL.
Forward: Casey Mittelstadt - Green Bay Gamblers

Mittelstadt returned to the Gamblers lineup for the first time since Nov. 12 and made an immediate impact in the team's three games over the weekend. In Friday's 4-1 victory over Cedar Rapids, the Eden Prarie, MN native scored two goals and dished out an assist. He added two more helpers on Saturday to help complete the weekend sweep of the RoughRiders before tallying his fourth assist and sixth point of the weekend in a 5-1 win over Madison on Sunday. He has earned at least one point in nine of his last 10 USHL games and has tallied 19 points (7G, 12A) in that stretch dating back to Oct. 22. Mittelstadt is tied for fourth among all USHL rookies in scoring with 27 points (10G, 17A) in 19 games. He is also in the top-five among rookies in assists (17), power-play goals (5), power-play assists (13) and leads all rookies in power-play points (18). Earlier this season, he was named MVP of the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game following a two-goal performance. He was also named USHL Forward of the Week on Nov. 7 and was ranked fifth among North American skaters in January's NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings. Most recently, Mittelstadt was named Minnesota's Mr. Hockey following a successful season with Eden Prairie High School. Mittelstadt is committed to the University of Minnesota and was selected in the fifth round, 73rd overall by the Gamblers in the 2014 USHL Phase I Draft.
Defenseman: Connor Mackey - Green Bay Gamblers

Mackey had two assists both Friday and Saturday night in a pair of wins over Cedar Rapids, and added his fifth helper of the weekend in Green Bay's 5-1 victory over the Madison Capitols on Sunday. The Barrington, IL native leads both the Gamblers and USHL defensemen in scoring with 47 points (6G, 41A) in 55 games. He now has points in three straight games, with five assists in that span. His 41 assists are tops among defensemen and second among all USHL players, and has dished out multiple assists 11 times this season. The Minnesota State University, Mankato commit was been named Defenseman of the Week for the fourth time this season, as he previously won the award on Oct. 31, Nov. 7 and March 6. Mackey was selected in the 13th round, 197th overall by Green Bay in the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft and previously played for Team Illinois (HPHL) and Barrington High (USHS).
Goaltender: Maksim Zhukov - Green Bay Gamblers

Zhukov made 23 saves on 24 shots on Friday night before making 30 saves on 32 shots on Saturday as Green Bay swept their weekend series with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. The Russian netminder has now won his last four starts between the pipes and now sits with an overall record of 17-8-1-1. He leads all USHL rookie goaltenders in GAA (2.31) and is second in both wins (17) and SV% (.914). He has been busy in goal for the Gamblers this year, as he has made 20 or more saves in 19 of his 29 appearances. Zhukov was named to the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game earlier this season, where he was credited with 11 saves. He was also ranked fifth among North American Goaltenders in January's NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings. Zhukov previously won Goaltender of the Week honors on Jan. 30 and was selected in the third round, 40th overall by Green Bay in the 2016 USHL Phase II Draft. Zhukov previously played for Lokomotiv Jr. Yaroslavl in Russia.
