Dates and times announced for the 2017 Clark Cup Semifinals

UPDATE: Muskegon and Dubuque will now play Game 3 on Thursday, April 20. If necessary, Game 4 will be played on Friday, April 21 and Game 5 will be played on Monday, April 24.

The United States Hockey League and its member clubs announced today the seeding and playoff dates for the 2017 Clark Cup Conference Semifinals. The Chicago Steel, Des Moines Buccaneers, Dubuque Fighting Saints, Fargo Force, Muskegon Lumberjacks, Sioux City Musketeers, Waterloo Black Hawks and Youngstown Phantoms will be competing for the 2017 Clark Cup championship.

Dubuque qualified for the Clark Cup playoffs for the seventh consecutive season, which is five years longer than the next closest active playoff streak (Waterloo - 2). Sioux City looks to become the first team to win both the Anderson Cup and Clark Cup in the same season since the Dubuque Fighting Saints accomplished the feat in 2013. The Musketeers can also become the first team to go from last place the season prior to winning the Clark Cup since the Indiana Ice did so in 2014. Additionally, 2017 marks the 23rd consecutive season that a team will not win back-to-back Clark Cup championships, due to the Tri-City Storm failing to qualify for postseason play.

All games will be broadcasted on ushl.hockeytv.com (HD broadcasts listed). All times listed below are local to the home team.
