27 USHL Players and Alumni Participating in 2017 NHL Scouting Combine

Players will participate in fitness testing and one-on-one interviews with NHL teams ahead of 2017 NHL Draft.

 

24 USHL players and three USHL alumni are participating in the 2017 NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, NY ahead of the 2017 NHL Draft at United Center in Chicago. 

 

According to the NHL, the event consists of player interviews, medical assessments and a series of physical fitness tests. All 31 NHL Clubs have the opportunity to conduct individual interviews with players in preparation for the 2017 NHL Draft.

 

USHL players participating in the 2017 NHL Scouting Combine include top NHL Central Scouting ranked players such as Eeli Tolvanen (Sioux City Musketeers), Casey Mittelstadt (Green Bay Gamblers) and Shane Bowers (Waterloo Black Hawks), along with alumni Jake Oettinger (Team USA), Ryan Poehling (Lincoln Stars) and Luke Martin (Team USA).
