Tri-City Storm defensemen Jace Foskey has committed to Harvard University to play his college hockey.
A Southlake, Texas native, Foskey tallied 11 points (3G, 8A) in 50 games during his first USHL season. He is the second active Tri-City player to commit to Harvard, joining Wyllum Deveaux.
The Storm drafted Foskey in the first round, 12th overall in the 2016 USHL Phase I Draft. Prior to his time with Tri-City, Foskey suited up for the Dallas Stars U16 program (T1EHL). Last season, 30 players committed to play college hockey played for the Storm.
Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 16th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2017-18. 30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in five consecutive NHL Drafts, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
