Cedar Rapids finished November on a high note, shutting out in-state rival Waterloo 3-0 in their last game of the month. Drew DeRidder picked up his first career USHL win and shutout in the contest. Goaltender Zack Larocque announced his commitment to Air Force Academy earlier in the month as well.

Quinn Hughes ended the month with a CCM/USHL Defenseman of the Week honor thanks to a five-assist game, tied for the most in a single game by a USHL player this season. He now leads the team with eight points (2G, 6A) in six games. Rookie Joel Farabee is right behind with six points, and Boston College commit Jacob Tortora has six points in six games.

15. Sioux Falls Stampede

Austin Albrecht ended the month on a four-game point streak (1G, 3A). He remains the team’s scoring leader with 21 points (5G, 16A) in 16 games.  Those 21 points are tied for seventh among all USHL players. Eric MacAdams is second on the team with 14 points, including a pair of game-winning goals. The Stampede come into December on a two-game winning streak and will look to build on that success in the coming weeks.
