Bloomington added a pair of veterans over the last week as they acquired a pair of forwards in Walker Duehr from the Chicago Steel and Christiano Versich of the Fargo Force for the final six weeks of the season. Both players will look to provide an offensive spark for the Thunder along with Vladislav Dzhioshvili, who tallied nine points (4G, 5A) in February to give him 37 points (18G, 19A) on the season, the most on the team. Wyatt Kalynuk continues to excel on the back end, with 27 points (5G, 23A) in 28 games, the fifth highest point total among USHL defensemen. The Thunder will play 11 games in March, nine of which will be away from U.S. Cellular Coliseum.

11. Omaha Lancers

18-23-5-1, Last Poll: 16

The Lancers moved up five spots in the power rankings by picking up points in six of their nine games in February. Emilio Pettersen continues to shine in his first season in the USHL. In February alone, the University of Denver commit had nine points (3G, 6A) and is now fifth among all USHL rookies in scoring with 22 points (10G, 12A) in 46 games. Filip Rydstrom finished February with points in five of his last seven games, and the Swedish forward remains the team’s scoring leader with 30 points (8G, 22A) in 43 games. Omaha will see some unfamiliar opponents in March, as six of their 10 contests will be played against Eastern Conference teams.
