Below is a recap and box score from Sunday's USHL game:

The Youngstown Phantoms have won five of their last six games thanks to a 3-1 victory over the Green Bay Gamblers at Covelli Centre on Sunday night. The teams traded goals in the opening period, with Matthew Barnaby and Austin Heidemann finding the back of the net for their respective teams. Following a scoreless middle frame, Brett Murray scored his USHL-leading 34th goal of the season midway through the third period, and Craig Needham added an empty net tally the seal the victory. Chad Veltri made 20 saves on 21 shots for his third consecutive win and fifth victory in his last six starts.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 17th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2018-19. The USHL had a record 45 players selected at the 2018 NHL Draft, more than any junior league in the world, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
