Player to Watch

Cole Burtch returns to the Youngstown Phantoms after finishing third in scoring last season with 38 points (20-18-38) in 49 games. The Western Michigan University commit led the team with 20 goals and recorded a hat trick and USHL-career-high four-point night (3-1-4) on March 25 in a 7-5 loss to the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

"Cole has a great nose for the net and the ability to create offense in high traffic situations.  As an experienced junior player he will be relied upon to help propel our group on and off the ice."

"The Youngstown Phantoms are coming back at full strength this season. No one who gave their best ever regretted it, and that's what we're here to do this year -- give our best. We're working to prepare our athletes for life beyond hockey, not just the next practice or game. The Youngstown Phantoms are striving for excellence on and off the ice."
