Forward Andrew McDonald of the Fargo Force has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Bentley University following his USHL career.

McDonald tallied 10 points (4g, 6a) in 53 games this season for the Force.  He netted his first USHL goal on November 8th in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Youngstown Phantoms and then followed up with two more goals over his next three games.  The New Brighton, Minnesota native recently celebrated his 20th birthday.

McDonald joins two other Force teammates who have committed to Bentley University – defensemen Chris Buchanan and Tanner Jago.  Two more players that played in the USHL this season are also committed to the school – Kyle Schmidt (Sioux City Musketeers) and Ryan McMurphy (Tri-City Storm).

Bentley University is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Association and had six USHL alumni on the Falcons roster this season; Gabe Antoni (Dubuque Fighting Saints), Will Suter (Lincoln/Sioux City), Alex Kubiak (Chicago/Green Bay), Brett Gensler (Youngstown/Cedar Rapids), Andrew Fitzstephens (Chicago Steel), and Tyler Deresky (Des Moines/Lincoln).
