Clark Kuster, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders
The defenseman dished out four assists and posted a plus-two rating in helping the RoughRiders to a pair of weekend victories, extending their win streak to six games. He assisted on both power play tallies in Friday’s 5-3 win against the Chicago Steel. His second assist was the 50th point of his USHL career. The 19-year-old then added two more assists in the 5-2 victory over the Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday. Kuster was also part of a penalty killing unit that turned away all eight power play chances by their opponents during the weekend, making them a perfect 20-for-20 on the PK over their last five contests. The St. Louis, Missouri native is committed to play college hockey at St. Cloud State University.
