Keegan Ford, Dubuque Fighting Saints
The defenseman recorded four points (1g, 3a) and a plus-three rating to help the Saints earn a pair of victories during the weekend. He dished out three assists in the 6-1 victory against the Bloomington Thunder on Saturday, which was just his second game of the season with the Saints. Ford followed up by scoring the game-winning goal in Sunday’s 5-1 win over the Chicago Steel. Four of his six USHL career goals have been game-winners. He was also part of a Dubuque penalty kill unit that turned away all 11 opponent power play chances during the two-game weekend. It is the third USHL season for the product of Waunakee High School in Wisconsin. The 18-year-old has totaled 37 points (6g, 31a) in 106 USHL career games with Dubuque.
