Brock Boeser, Waterloo Black Hawks
Playing his first USHL games in three weeks, the forward tallied five points (4g, 1a) over two victories for the Black Hawks. He netted two goals and dished out an assist in Saturday’s 5-4 win against the Des Moines Buccaneers. The 17-year-old followed up with two more goals, including the game-winner, in Sunday’s 5-1 victory over the Fargo Force. All four of his goals came on the power play and he now leads the USHL with nine total power play goals this season. He is currently tied for fourth in League scoring with 31 points (16g, 15a) through 23 games this season, while his 16 goals are tied for the second-most in the USHL. A product of Burnsville High School in Minnesota, Boeser is a top prospect for the 2015 NHL Draft.
