Art Brey, Sioux Falls Stampede
It was an eventful week for the goaltender who committed to play college hockey at St. Lawrence University and then went on to lead the Stampede to a pair of victories, posting a 0.50 goals-against-average and .978 save percentage. He stopped all 18 shots he faced in Thursday’s 4-0 win against the Fargo Force to record his second shutout of the season. Brey then made 27 saves in Friday’s 3-1 victory over the Bloomington Thunder to record the 48th win of his USHL career. The Yorba Linda, California native has allowed just two goals over his last four appearances for the Stampede, posting a 0.55 GAA and .976 SV% over that span. During his nine total victories this season, he has allowed more than one goal just once. He currently ranks fourth among USHL goaltenders with a 2.40 GAA.
