The Chicago Steel kept their perfect record in tact with a 3-0 shutout of the Green Bay Gamblers at the Resch Center. Johnny Walker picked up two points (1G, 1A) and now sports a four-game goal streak, tied for the longest such streak in the league this season. Wyatt Aamodt (0G, 2A) and Baker Shore (1 G, 1 A) also picked up multiple points, and Ales Stezka stopped all 26 shots he faced to earn his third shutout in as many starts. Stezka is now only the second USHL goaltender to record three consecutive shutouts. He now sits with a 3-0-0-0 record and a 203-minute shutout streak. As for Shore, he extended his goal-scoring streak to three games, and now leads all USHL rookies with four goals. With the win, Chicago sits at 7-0-0-0 and moves into sole possession of the top spot in the USHL standings.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 15th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2016-17.  30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in four consecutive NHL Drafts,  and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
