Swoyer's two goals, Swayman's 31 saves lead Stampede over Team USA.

Colin Swoyer scored two goals to lead the Sioux Falls Stampede to a convincing 6-1 victory over Team USA at the PREMIER Center. Jack Doremus and AJ Villella scored 14 seconds apart in the first period to give the Stampede a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. Swoyer, Nolan Walker and Max Johnson built the lead to 5-0 through two periods of play, and Swoyer found the back of the net for the second time in the game in the third period. Jonathan Gruden picked up the lone goal for Team USA. Villella (1G, 1A), Swoyer (2G, 0A), Johnson (1G, 1A), Walker (1G, 2A) and Austin Albrecht (0G, 2A) all tallied multiple points, and Jeremy Swayman earned his third victory of the season with a 31-save performance.
