Fighting Saints move into second place in East with win over Madison.

 Dubuque jumped out to a 2-0 advantage through 20 minutes of play. Colin Theisen opened the scoring with his team-leading 14th goal of the season, and Zach Solow doubled the lead with a power play tally with just 39 seconds remaining in the period. Solow also added an assist in the period to extend his point streak to 16 straight games. In those 16 contests, the Northeastern commit has 26 points (6G, 20A). Cole Guttman and Quinn Preston made it 4-0 Fighting Saints in the second period. Guttman is now sporting a five-game point streak, with five goals and three assists over that span. Cole Hults scored late in the middle frame for Madison. Jacob Hamacher and Vincent de Mey tallied for their respective teams in the third period. Patrick Kudla and Dallas Gerads each dished out a pair of assists, and Jaxon Castor stopped 14 of 16 shots to move to 16-7-1-1 on the season. The Arizona State commit has now won eight of his last 10 starts. Dubuque now sits in second place in the Eastern Conference with 38 points (18-9-1-1).
