The Gamblers jumped out to a 3-1 lead through 20 minutes of play. After Josh Dunne got Green Bay on the board with assists to fellow USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game participants John Leonard and Connor Mackey, Bloomington's August Von Ungern-Sternberg found the back of the net under four minutes later to even the score at one. Dante Palecco scored his 10th of the season, an unassisted tally, just 13 seconds later, and Michael Bevilacqua picked up his first goal of the year shorthanded to stretch the Gamblers advantage to 3-1 heading into the second period. Calgary Flames prospect Mitchell Mattson scored on the power play about halfway through the middle frame to cut the lead to 3-2 heading into the third period, but the Gamblers' Brody Stevens sealed the victory with Green Bay's second shorthanded goal of the game late in the third period. Captain Jared Spooner dished out a pair of assists, and Maksim Zhukov stopped 24 of 26 shots to move to 11-5-0-1 on the season. With the victory, the Gamblers are now alone in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
