DES MOINES BUCCANEERS  at FARGO FORCE 
Des Moines has taken sole possession of second place over the Force in the Western Conference with a 4-2 road victory in Fargo. The Buccaneers' Tommy Parrottino scored the lone goal of the opening period to give Des Moines a 1-0 lead heading into the second. In the middle frame, Jack Adams responded on the power play with his league-leading 21st goal of the year to make it a 1-1 game through 40 minutes of play. Des Moines took a 2-1 lead early in the third period with David Keefer's 15th tally of the season, but Philip Alftberg responded just two minutes later to even the score for the second time in the game. 2:18 after Alftberg's goal, Matt Hudie gave the Buccaneers a 3-2 lead, and Eric Otto completed the scoring with an empty-net goal with just 17 seconds remaining. Jan Ruzicka picked up his 14th victory of the season with a 28-save performance.
TRI-CITY STORM  at OMAHA LANCERS 
Tri-City held a 3-0 lead through one period of play courtesy of tallies from Adam Goodish, Josiah Slavin and Odeen Tufto. Slavin's goal was the first of his USHL career. The Storm stretched the lead to 5-0 in the second period with goals from Wyatt Bongiovanni and Danny DiGrande. 52 seconds into the third period, a Jack Randl goal got Omaha on the board, and Bongiovanni scored his second of the game to complete the scoring. Bryan Yoon dished out three assists, and both Tufto and Montgomery Graham registered two assists in the win. Dayton Rasmussen made 18 saves on 19 Lancers shots for his 11th victory of the season.
