Pospisil's two goals, including overtime winner on penalty shot, puts Sioux City back atop Western Conference.

The Musketeers held a 1-0 lead through 20 minutes of play thanks to Kristian Pospisil's eighth goal of the season. Odeen Tufto, playing in his first game for Sioux City, added an assist on the goal, his 21st of the season. Brian Rigali doubled the lead midway through the second thanks to a helper from Charlie Kelleher, also playing his first game as a Musketeer. Omaha's Filip Rydstrom cut the lead to 2-1 late in the middle frame, and Sioux City held that lead at the start of the third period. The score remained 2-1 until late in the game, when Pierce Crawford's team-leading 13th goal and 27th point of the season tied the game with just 1:29 to play in regulation to send the sides to overtime. Late in the extra frame, Pospisil was taken down on a breakaway, and on the ensuing penalty shot, beat Lancers goaltender Tommy Nappier to give the Musketeers the 3-2 overtime victory. Matiss Kivlenieks moved his record to 22-5-4-2 with a 35-save performance to put Sioux City alone in first place in the Western Conference standings.
