Dubuque picked up their third straight victory and now sit just a single point out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference thanks to a 5-2 victory over the Bloomington Thunder. Eric MacAdams scored his first goal as a member of the Fighting Saints 1:23 into the game to open the scoring. Dallas Gerads picked up his 10th tally of the season nine minutes later, and Dubuque took a 2-0 lead into the second period. Keenan Suthers made it a 3-0 game 3:13 into the second period before Quinn Preston and Austin Rueschhoff extended the advantage to 5-0 later in the frame with goals just 30 seconds apart.
