USHL Alumni Playing In Olympics

17 USHL alumni across seven nations will compete in the 2018 Olympics.

17 USHL alumni across seven nations will compete in the Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. Eight members of the United States Olympic team previously played in the USHL, including three who are currently playing college hockey.


The opening game for the U.S. men is set for Feb. 14 against Slovenia. For more information on the U.S. Olympic teams, click here.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 16th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2017-18. 30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in five consecutive NHL Drafts, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
