March Power Rankings

03/02/2018, 9:45am CST

The Omaha Lancers sit atop the USHL Power Rankings for the first time this season.

The USHL regular season is 75 percent complete, and the standings still seem as volatile as ever. Teams are constantly moving up and down the standings, making every game from now through the end of the regular season that much more important. The Omaha Lancers top the power rankings for the first time this season and show no signs of slowing down any time soon.

The USHL Power Rankings are compiled at the beginning of each month of the regular season. A panel of media members from around the league ranked the teams from 1st to 17th, and the votes were compiled into an overall ranking. Power Rankings are decided on a monthly basis and will run until Clark Cup Playoffs. Listed below are the teams, their record and number of first place votes earned. The previous rankings listed are from the February USHL Power Rankings.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 16th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2017-18. 30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in five consecutive NHL Drafts, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
