Over 100 potential NHL Draft prospects were invited by NHL Central Scouting to the annual NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, NY. The NHL Scouting Combine, which has taken place in Buffalo in each of the last three years, showcases the top draft-eligible prospects from North America and Europe ahead of the 2018 NHL Draft in Dallas, TX.

This event allows NHL teams to view these top players prior to the draft during medical and physical tests and gives them an opportunity for one-on-one interviews with the players.

Below are results of how USHL players and alumni measured against their peers. A full summary of the top-25 prospects, along with an explanation of results, can be found here.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrated its 16th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2017-18. 30 or more players from the USHL have been selected in five consecutive NHL Drafts, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
