The United States Hockey League, along with its member clubs, announced today the 30-man protected and affiliate lists for the 2018-19 season. Today also marks the first day that Injured Reserve can be utilized.
Member clubs must make necessary drops to get to their 23-man protected list by Sept. 24 at 12 PM CT to the league office, as well as USA Hockey, ahead of the start of the 2018-19 USHL regular season at the DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic. 23-man protected lists must adhere to regular season roster regulations, which include:
Beginning Sept. 25 at 12 PM CT, all roster moves will count towards the annual roster move limit. Players on both the 30-man protected and affiliate lists are eligible to play in USHL preseason games.
