Below is a recap and box score from Wednesday's USHL game:

Lincoln has now won two of their last three games thanks to Wednesday's 2-1 home victory over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Following a scoreless first period, Hunter Skinner picked up his first goal as a member of the Stars, extending his point streak to four games and giving Lincoln a 1-0 lead through 40 minutes. It remained a 1-0 game until Wyatt Schlaht scored his first USHL goal at 14:06 of the third period to double the Stars' lead. Cedar Rapids got on the board 25 seconds later with a Chase Hamstad tally, but Lincoln held on for the final 5:29 to pick up the 2-1 victory. Samuel Hlavaj made 29 saves on 30 shots for his second straight win between the pipes.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 17th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2018-19. The USHL had a record 45 players selected at the 2018 NHL Draft, more than any junior league in the world, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
